A QR code for property issue reports
One place for reports, without private numbers.
A broken light in the stairwell, a door that will not close or water in the basement. Residents notice first, but often do not know who to tell. A TagTalk QR code in the hallway gives them one fixed place to report problems, without passing round the private numbers of landlords or committee members.

The short definition
A QR code in the hallway gives residents one fixed place to report a problem to the landlord or residents' association, without private numbers.
Who this helps
Private landlords with one or more properties, residents' associations that handle maintenance themselves and managers of small apartment buildings. Anywhere residents want to report something and you do not want everyone to have your mobile number.
How a report works
The resident scans the QR code in the hallway and describes the problem in the browser, without an app or account. You read the report in your TagTalk dashboard and reply in the same conversation, for example to say when the engineer will come.
No more private numbers in group chats
A committee member who shares their number gets reports at any time of day, even after they step down. With TagTalk, reports arrive in one place and the resident sees no phone number or email address.
Printing and placing the sign
Choose the Property Report design and print at 100% scale. Place it at eye level in the hallway or near the mailboxes, and test the QR code with your own phone.
Emergencies stay emergencies
A QR code is meant for everyday reports. For fire, a gas smell or another emergency, people should call the local emergency number. Put that number on the notice board next to the sign.
Does the resident see my phone number?
No. The report goes through TagTalk. The resident does not see your phone number or email address.
Can I reply to a report?
Yes. You reply in your dashboard in the same conversation, and the resident sees your reply on the message page.
Which design should I print?
The Property Report design is laid out for reporting problems in a building.
Is this suitable for emergencies?
No. For fire, a gas smell or an emergency, people should call the local emergency number. TagTalk is for everyday reports.
