Your phone number on the dashboard: stay reachable without showing it
Reachable for those who need you, hidden from everyone else.
Many drivers leave a note with their phone number on the dashboard, so someone can call if the car is in the way. Practical, but anyone walking by can read that number.
The problem with a visible number
Anyone can photograph, save and reuse a number on your dashboard, including for unwanted messages. You share it with every passer-by, not only with the person who really needs you.
A QR tag instead of your number
Print the Vehicle / Car Window design and place it inside the window. Whoever scans it sends you a message from their browser, no app needed. You get notified and reply through TagTalk. Nobody sees a number.
When it helps
A car blocking a driveway, headlights left on, an open window or a minor bump: people can reach you quickly, even when you are not around.
Placement
Place the tag in a corner of the windshield or rear window, outside the driver view, on clean and dry glass.
Does the sender see my phone number?
No. The message goes through TagTalk. The sender never sees your phone number or email address.
Can I reply?
Yes. You reply from your dashboard in the same conversation. The sender reads your reply on the message page.
Does the person scanning need an app?
No. A phone camera is enough; the message page opens in the browser.
